Quaint restaurant in an unassuming plaza with some of the best noodles in the area. I've only ever seen 1-2 workers handling the register, the floor, and kitchen but they whip up food relatively fast. I found it a bit difficult to flag down one of the workers to be seated due to lack of staff when we first came but he (I assume the owner) was nothing but polite and kind. My favorites are the chongking noodles and Dan Dan noodle--tangy, numbing, and umami with bouncy, chewy noodles. Their homemade plum juice is another favorite of ours as well. Will be a regular spot within my food rotations in the 626. ** tip to pay cash to avoid a 3% fee

Had the Dan Dan Noodle Soup , Delicious very spicy ( that's up to you ) inside similar to a fast food Chinese combo joint but the menu is totally different a Chongqing style , I would recommend.

Small-medium restaurant. Holds 8 tables that seat 4, 2 tables that seat 2. They have window walls. Food is taiwanese style noodles/sides/rice and dumplings. Also sell herbal teas and drinks. Condiments are soy sauce and chili oil. They have hooked spoons that dont fall in bowls. Waiter is dressed casual in t shirt and running shoes. Not very chatty. Menu is in QR code or paper. There are toddler raised baby chairs. There is a public bathroom. They have A/C and fans. They have TV. They have handicapped parking. No outdoor dining only indoor. Portions are larger than average. My dan dan noodle with soup came in a wide bowl about a feet in diameter. Parking space is limited as there are maybe 10-15 spots. You are better off parking by Rosemead park and walking over. The nearest EV charging station is at Rosemead High School. They accept cash, credit card, and apple pay.

I ordered the Dan Dan Mein & cucumber salad to go. I was craving Dan Dan mein and these hit the spot! I ordered medium spice and it was perfect. Super flavorful, a slight hint of spice and slight mala. The portion was big enough that I saved half of the noodles for the next day. The cucumber salad (not spicy) was room temperature (I didn't mind it) and perfectly flavorful. I ate the whole thing immediately. It tasted like there was a hint of sesame oil in it as well. I ordered over the phone and they quoted me 10 minutes for the food to be ready. There is a parking lot in front, so parking was easy.

This truly is the best noodle house. At first glance when you come in and sit down, the door was left open and there was flies flying in, there is dust and dead flies along the window sills. But their food.. their food is amazing! The noodles we ordered were sooo flavorful and delicious. The spicy noodle soup has just the right amount of spicy for me and was so perfect on such a cold day. The spicy stir fried noodles were sooo flavorful. The dumplings we got could've been a little more crunchier but still a hit.

Loved their Dan Dan noodles! One of the best we've had in sgv. It had a little kick but the sauce was not too thick or peanutty. Their house noodle red soup base was too spicy for me so I ended up drowning the noodles with leftover Dan Dan sauce. The cold chicken was slimy - wasn't a fan but it was bogo. Overall - would return for their Dan Dan noodles.

Best noodles you'll ever have. I like putting a dash of white pepper (it's complementary and comes in a shaker at every table) before taking a big bite of the noodle. There's something about the combination of chili oil spice and dry white pepper spice that make it so addicting. After being disappointed by overpriced overhyped food all over LA, eating here was refreshing. Two noodle dishes and a side set us back less than $30 bucks. This hole-in-the-wall is truly a hidden gem

Little spot in a very unassuming plaza. The inside doesn't look or feel like a lot of the newer trendy spots but the noodles and soup are yummy!! When we came in there was only one man working. I'd guess he's the owner. He's the server, food runner and cook. So if you entered and weren't greeted right away it's probably because he's in the kitchen making someone's order. He's quiet and has a super sweet demeanour. We ordered the beef noodle soup and Chungking handmade noodle. The Chungking handmade noodle was our fave of the two. The wide noodles had a really nice texture, chewiness, bite and flavor. The soup was also really tasty. Sichuan pepper broth that had a lot of flavor and looked spicier than it was. The beef noodle soup was good. The beef was soft, seasoned nicely and easily fell apart. The noodles were pretty good too, nice texture, not over cooked. Definitely recommend to check this little spot out and support this small business. The owner is so sweet and such a hard worker. We'll definitely be back to try other items.
